Abstract

The government's program through the Minister of Environment and Forestry has issued a new program as an economy of equity, to help alleviate poverty and unemployment through Social Forestry (PS). This Social Forestry is given to the community to manage forest resources legally to help protect natural resources as well as a reference in increasing income, especially in the Rimbe Forest Farmers Group. The diversity of each respondent's income shows that there are factors that affect it directly or indirectly. This study aims to find out what factors affect respondents' income. Quantitative descriptive approach with SPPS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) testing. Data collection through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and literature studies was then analyzed using multiple linear regression, which was used to determine the influence of independent variables on bound variables where the value of y = income of the farmer group and factor x (respondent age, education level, main occupation, land area, and number of plant types). The test was carried out by the f test (Analysis of variance) and the t test (linear regression test). The test is carried out with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) software so that the data loaded will show which variables will have an effect with a sig value of <0.05 declared to be influential and >0.05 meaning that the independent variables do not affect the dependent variables together. The results showed that the most influential factor on income from Social Forestry in Rimbe Forest Farmers Group was the area of cultivated land, with a value of P value = 0.027 which shows that the larger the farmer's cultivated land, the greater the amount of production from the harvest. The amount of production produced will get higher income.
