Most of the people in Tugumulyo sub-district cultivate rice and allocate their working time for rice farming. This research aims to evaluate the income and working time of households in Wonorejo Village. It was conducted from April to May 2017 in Wonorejo Village, Tugumulyo District, Musi Rawas Regency. The research used a survey method with Stratified Proportional Random Sampling of 32 samples from 108 populations from varies land area as strata in this study. The research data including income and daily working time. The research shows that the allocation of household working time in Wonorejo Village consists of the allocation of working time for rice farming households, outside rice farming, and non-farming. The average household annual working time for men is 95,103 hours and 38,337 hours for women. The allocation of annual working time consists of rice farming for men with an average of 2,975 hours and for women 3,537 hours, non-rice farming consists of men with an average of 88,468 hours and for women 6,600 hours, while for non-farming for men the average was 3,660 hours and women 28,200 hours. The average annual income obtained by farmers from rice farming is Rp. 12,046,000, then the average annual income obtained by farmers from non-rice farming is Rp. 9,420,032, while the average annual income obtained by farmers from non-farming is Rp. 4,434,375. It can be seen that the annual income of farmers from rice farming is greater than the income received from non-rice and non-farming. The farmer's household can optimize the allocation of working time in non-rice and non-farm farms to increase family income.
